My husband got into poison ivy and also had leech bites. After leaving them untreated for a week the bites and poison ivy had gotten infected. We used antibacterial ointment and 1% devil's club salve and covered with bandages for 24 hours. Then another day with just one application of devil's club salve. It's almost gone! So fast! It's phenomenal. So glad we had some salve. I was reading it takes 2-3 weeks for the poison ivy wounds to heal if they don't get infected. This took three days to heal AFTER a week when it got infected.
