After a heavy couch fell on my big the toenail turned black and separated from the cuticle- there was a gap and I was sure that I would lose the toenail. I used a drop of the pure devilsclub essential oil a couple times a day and after a couple weeks the toenail had reattached and the cuticle had grown back over the top of the toenail. All that was left was a little brown spot. I'm amazed.
