Both my husband and I have been using the salve regularly. He uses it for his hands a couple of times a week because he is a musician (guitar) and his fingers become painful after several gigs in a row. The "deep achiness" subsides within 5 minutes, going from a 5 to a 1 or 0 and does not return for at least a day just after one application.

I have developed arthritis in my fingers and have a bit of limited mobility. The salve helps the inflammatory pain within 5 minutes, calming it down - especially in the fingers of my right hand and calming the "electricity" in the enlarged area between my left wrist and my thumb; usually the pain is a 6 and it goes to a 2 or 0. I apply the salve at least once a day. It also does not take much quantity for it to start working. We would much prefer to use the Devil's Club salve instead of Voltaren (Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel 1%).
