I had an umbilical hernia surgery in April and the 2nd day after surgery I put 2 drops of undiluted devil's club essential oil around the incision site (not on the sutures). After 6 weeks it was completely healed and during that time there was no itching, stinging, inflammation, or pain. No medications were taken during this time period other than 2 Tylenol 3 during the first two days.
